Rural and Frontier EMS and Trauma

May 21-23, 2008

Coeur D'Alene Resort - Coeur D'Alene, ID

Join us for the second installment in the Summit Series. This Summit will have something for everyone from federal and state policy makers to local EMS managers and hospital administrators to individual EMTs.

The Rural and Frontier EMS and Trauma Summit at the Lake will build on the success of the inaugural Summit held in Big Sky, Montana in 2006.

Nationally renowned speakers will:

  • Explore the increased emphasis on EMS and trauma system development within the Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program and how to best support the horizontal integration of emergency care resources within the local community.

  • Discuss several program initiatives of the American College of Surgeons and other organizations to support trauma system development and training of rural personnel.

  • Highlight products and programs of the Rural EMS and Trauma Technical Assistance Center

Please check back regularly as this page will be updated when more information is available.
